Research

Reiki complementary cancer treatment program

In partnership with CaroMont Cancer Center, Reiki Education and Research Institute in 2009 -2011, provided Free Reiki Symptom Management Clinic at the CaroMont Cancer Center, Gaston Memorial Hospital on every Tuesday from 1 pm – 4pm to cancer patients who are suffering from pain, stress, side effects and other symptoms associated with conventional cancer treatment.  A Reiki treatment offered at the clinic lasts for 20-30 minutes.  In our pilot studies, we found that Reiki can aid in stress management, reduce symptoms and side effects associated with conventional treatment.

ReikI Education and Research Institute is committed to bringing Reiki to our community and making Reiki an integrative part of traditional medicine.  We are  in the process of developing more research projects on Reiki therapy.  If you have information you would like to share with us about Reiki research or you are interested in participating in our Research studies. Reiki Class/Training

We offer complete training on Reiki which includes level I and II, advanced level and Reiki Master/Teaching level. The level I and II is a 4 months comprehensive training program. Students will receive completed training, gain extensive knowledge on Reiki and experience stress reduction, healing and personal empowerment. CLICK HERE for class information and registration

Student Reiki Practice Session (For RERI students only)

Each month, RERI offers our students opportunities to practice Reiki and continue their learning, self-healing and spiritual development in a professional, supportive and comfortable environment.

Monthly Stress Management Clinic

The monthly stress management clinic is open to the general public. The clinic provides Reiki healing session or treatment at low cost for for those who are in need of stress management, physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Annual Reiki Retreat

Each year, we organize a Healing Retreat to celebrate the Fall Equinox and for anyone who is interested in self improvement and healing the body, mind and spirit. The retreat is a great opportunity to meet kindred spirits and enjoy healing and spiritual activities and programs in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Private Reiki Healing Session

A private healing session (treatment) can help improve and balance your energy flow and promote body, mind and spirit connection. Treatment is done by a professional and experienced Reiki Master/Teacher who has comprehensive Reiki training and years of experience in both teaching and providing treatments in clinical settings.
