How long are your training programs?
Each level of training is thoughtfully designed to give students time to absorb, practice, and grow. Our bi-weekly class schedule allows space between sessions for integration, reflection, and support.
Here’s a general timeline for each level:
Reiki Fundamental Level (include traditional western Reiki I & II and additional materials of Japanese techniques) : 3.5 months
Advanced Reiki Training: 3.5 months
Reiki Master Level: 4.5 – 6 months
Associate Reiki Practitioner Training: 5 months
Associate Reiki Teacher Training: 5 months
Keep in mind: this journey is flexible. Some students choose to take breaks between levels or deepen their practice before moving on. We’re here to support your path—whatever it looks like.
Why are your programs longer than most Reiki trainings?
Our programs are intentionally designed to give students the time and space they need to truly integrate Reiki into their lives. With a bi-weekly schedule, you have the opportunity to absorb each lesson, practice the techniques at your own pace, and return with questions or insights. This thoughtful rhythm allows for a deeper and more meaningful learning experience.
At RERI, we believe that Reiki is a lifelong path, not a quick skill to acquire. Our in-depth training lays a strong foundation for true mastery—one that aligns with our mission to raise the standards of Reiki education and promote best practices in healing.
How long does it take to become a Reiki Master?
Becoming a Reiki Master is a personal journey that unfolds over time. While it’s possible to complete the training path in about 2.5 to 3 years, the actual timeline depends on your readiness, rhythm, and how deeply you want to engage with the material.
At RERI, we encourage you to move through each level at a pace that supports your growth. There’s no rush—only steady, meaningful progress guided by our experienced teachers.
I’ve already completed Reiki Level I and II training elsewhere. Can I take your Master program?
We’re so glad you’re interested in continuing your Reiki journey with us! Because Reiki training programs can vary widely in both content and philosophy, we want to make sure you’re fully prepared and aligned with our approach before stepping into the Master level.
We review each case individually and are happy to connect with you to discuss your background. In some cases, students find it helpful to retake a previous level with us—not as a repeat, but as a way to deepen their understanding and get familiar with our method of teaching and practice.

How do the remote/online classes work?
Our remote classes are held live through our secure online portal, and you can join using a computer, tablet, or mobile device—whatever works best for you.
Each class is taught in real time, so you’ll be able to interact with your instructor, ask questions, and connect with your classmates just like you would in person. Once you register for a program, we’ll send you all the details you need to log in and get started.
We’re here to make sure your online learning experience is smooth, supportive, and enriching from the very first session.
How do I sign up for an in-person class?
We’re excited that you’re interested in learning Reiki with us! Currently, our in-person classes are arranged based on interest and availability. If you’d like to explore in-person learning, please reach out to us directly. We’ll chat with you about your goals and preferences to help find the best class option for you.

I need to take the classes remotely. Will I miss the opportunity to practice the techniques I learn?
Not at all! All of our Reiki programs can be completed remotely, and we’ve designed them to give you plenty of hands-on experience—even from a distance.
During your training, you’ll primarily be practicing Reiki on yourself, which is a deeply transformative part of the journey. It’s also helpful to have a friend, family member, or even a pet who’s open to receiving Reiki—especially during the Fundamental program, when you’re learning hands-on Reiki techniques.
To support your continued growth, we include a one-year free membership with your program. This gives you access to virtual practice sessions, community support, and other resources to keep you engaged and confident in your practice.
We also host Monthly Virtual Intention and Reiki Circle on the first Saturday that are open to the public, our Summer Solstice event in June, Students and Alumni Reunion in Feb and our Fall Annual Wellness and Spiritual Retreat is a beautiful in-person gathering open to all. It’s a wonderful opportunity to relax, reconnect, and deepen your practice in a heart-centered community.
